Hallmarks of great leaders

With the presidential campaigns in full swing, I have been thinking about the qualities that I often recognize in great leaders.
To me, a superior leader uses the word “we” appropriately. How many of us have had bosses who use the word “we” when they really mean “you?” The people I recognize as great leaders are willing to get in the trenches and do the same work as everyone else, leading by example and carrying equal burden.
