		<description>For straight-through T1 cables and connectors (*never* wire a jack in the wall as crossover) I always used the T568A/B standards.  Only in the case I needed to crossover a T1 cable did I have to worry; and like you said, you only need to remember &quot;1/4, 2/5&quot;.
That said, there was this one person who could talk for /ever/ about how evil it was to use ethernet standards for T1 cables.. but we never had problems ;)</description>
